Join a Working Group

Animal Justice Party NSW working groups are volunteer-led teams focused on specific animal protection campaigns. They support legislative change, community advocacy, and our MP Emma Hurst’s work in Parliament.

Working groups operate across NSW. Some are currently active and running campaigns. Others are paused and listed so supporters can register interest in restarting or supporting them.

If you want to take meaningful action for animals, working groups are one of the most direct ways to get involved.

What working groups do 🐾

Working groups focus on a specific issue and may:
• support legislative reform, including work that supports our MP Emma Hurst in Parliament
• campaign at local council or state level
• raise public awareness through education and outreach
• support community organising and events
• assist with research, submissions, and communications

You choose how you contribute based on your time and skills.

How to get involved

To join an active working group or to express interest in restarting an inactive group, email [email protected]

Include:
• the working group name
• whether you want to join an active group or help restart an inactive one
• how you would like to be involved

🤔 If there is not currently a working group for an issue you care about, you are welcome to get in touch to talk about starting one. We can support you with guidance, resources, and next steps.
