Emma Kerin, Blacktown, Ward 3

Emma is the Animal Justice Party candidate proudly standing in Ward 3 Blacktown. Originally from Bowral, Emma has now lived in Blacktown for 15 years raising her children. Emma is committed to serving the Australian community at large, having worked in the public service for 17 years tackling financial crime. She has completed her master’s degree in this area and is currently working towards her Doctorate. Since 1999 Emma has also volunteered for many human and animal charities and it is through her volunteer work that Emma has got to know firsthand how caring and compassionate people in her community are. Therefore, she is driven to give them the opportunity to be able to vote in line with their values. She will prioritise and uphold the collective interests of residents and ratepayers in her diverse local community.

Emma is ready to serve her community with ethical and dedicated representation.

Emma will improve her area by;

  • Vote NO to non-essential rate rises – I won’t back down on this.
  • Stop wasteful spending of your rates in our community.
  • Work for safer public spaces and transport hubs.
  • Ensure green spaces are protected and parks and verges are well maintained.
  • Support community groups and activations.
  • Promote sustainable development.
  • Advocate for affordable and accessible childcare
  • Assist the community with cost-of-living pressures to care for their pets.
  • Advocate for preservation of our environment and wildlife.
  • Most importantly, I will ensure community members are listened to and heard!

Support Emma to make a real difference for the residents and animals of Blacktown. She will put the community first and work hard for your interests. A vote for the Animal Justice Party is a vote for the evolution of wellbeing in our society, as animals and humans are intertwined with many social, economic and environmental issues in our community.

It’s time animal welfare was on the agenda at Blacktown Council!

Help us make a difference for animals in the Federal Government elections

We need your help to have the biggest possible impact at the upcoming Federal Government election.

The Animal Justice Party cannot stand a compassionate Federal candidate without your support to pay for social media advertising, printing and campaigning. With enough money to raise awareness of AJP we have a real chance of having a Federal Candidate elected, to advocate for all animals at a National government level. The more funds we have, the bigger our impact for animals.

Can you chip in to cover some of the costs?

Donations to our Federal Election Campaign account from 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 are subject to the following conditions:
