Ric Allport is a longtime vegan and animal rights activist, educator, and animal rescuer. He is the Project Coordinator at Kangaroos Alive, where he leads campaigns such as World Kangaroo Day and the Kangaroo Walks and Talks program. He is also the Vegan Education in Schools Campaign Manager for Vegan Australia, developing high school programs that promote ethical and compassionate living.
Ric is one of the directors of Coast to Coast Animal Friends, a board member of the Animal Justice Foundation, and the founder of the animal rescue team, Rescue Ninjas. He serves as the MC and one of the key organisers of the Animal Rights Forum and is a former State Convenor for the Animal Justice Party Queensland. He is the creator of The Empowered Activist, a book designed to help activists overcome burnout and reconnect with purpose. His work blends grassroots activism, education, and emotional resilience to create a more just world for all animals.
