We had an exciting launch of our 2027 NSW State Campaign on Saturday afternoon, with over 150 of you joining us. The room was filled with incredible energy and it couldn't have been more inspiring.
Thank you to everyone standing with us in this campaign. Your commitment is exactly what will win this fight for animals, and we have no intention of slowing down.

Introducing Greg Keightley, our number two on the Upper House ticket
The biggest reveal of the day was Greg Keightley, our MP Emma Hurst's running mate, standing at number two on the Upper House ticket.
For 28 years, Greg has rescued and cared for wildlife, and he's seen how little protection our flora and fauna get from the major parties. That experience drives everything he's campaigning on, from reducing the pressures on biodiversity to protecting the habitat our animals depend on.
Greg says that coexistence with wildlife is key to our survival, and that we need to work together, not against each other, if we're going to thrive.
He's especially outspoken on the suffering of kangaroos. Greg has witnessed firsthand the cruelty of the commercial kangaroo industry, and that experience has never left him. He's fighting against exploitative, profit-driven industries that have gone unchallenged for far too long, from live export and factory farming to the commercial slaughter of millions of kangaroos every year, all of which treat animal welfare as an afterthought. Greg is outraged that these animals are killed for pet food and other products, and he's committed to being their voice.
Greg is fighting for a future where kangaroos and all animals can live without fear, free from exploitation and cruelty. He believes that as an Animal Justice Party representative, and with more compassion in government, that future is within reach.
No one else is fighting for animals the way we are.
We see the suffering that others look away from. We know what is hidden and what the major parties would rather you didn't ask about, and we won't stay silent about it.
Our vision is that we want a NSW where animals, people and the planet all have a political voice. On the night, we heard that vision reflected back to us. We heard about the issues affecting your local area, and we saw it in our regional groups, now energised by the people who make them up.

2. Sign up to volunteer
This campaign runs on people power. Even if you've got an hour or an afternoon, there's a role for you, from door-knocking and phone calls to running a stall or spreading the word online.

3. Donate - Help Get Emma Hurst Re-elected
This election is going to be hard-fought and hard-won in a very tough political environment for animals.
We need to build a people-powered movement to get Emma Hurst re-elected, and we need our supporters standing right beside us.
4. Get connected through your regional group
If you are a member, joining your regional group is the best way to make sure you're getting everything you need. Active groups send out local information, upcoming events and ways to help, in person or online. There are ways to get involved big and small, so make sure you're signed up to receive email updates.
