BRUMBIES NEED OUR HELP

AJP Northern Beaches will be helping to collect 10,000 signatures for a paper petition that needs to be presented to the Austraian Government by June 20th that requests them to 

a) Immediately ban the killing of brumbies from Kosciuszko National Park, and

b) Cease trapping of brumbies while an independent count of the brumby population is undertaken, using a transparent methodology that can be scrutinised by all stakeholders, followed by a review of the Kosciuszko National Park Wild Horse Management Plan

I will be there from 10-1pm at Manly Beach opposite Starbucks on the Corso with a Corflute or two and the petition.

The State and Federal Government believe the lies that brumbies are destroying the Australian Alpine region and that the brumby numbers are in plague proportions, which couldn’t be further from the truth. They both condone the killing and slaughter of our beautiful wild horses, including pregnant mares and foals, in mass numbers. Please be a voice for them.
