Matt Stellino, Deputy State Convenor
[email protected]
Matt Stellino is the Councillor for the City of Campbelltown, and the first Animal Justice Party Councillor to be elected in NSW. Now, he is proud to also represent the Party as the Deputy State Convenor.
Matt's wins for animals at a council level have highlighted the importance of having an Animal Justice Party voice at every level of government. In Campbelltown, Matt has put the local colony of koalas front and centre on the agenda, banned the use of 1080 and Strychnine poisons on all Council lands, won a trial run of his novel bin-lid latches program for local wildlife, and so much more.
Bringing to the NSW State Committee his experience and understanding of local government and grassroots campaigns, Matt is eager to play a role in guiding the NSW Branch towards an even stronger future.
