The Animal Justice Party – for people, animals and the environment
Why should I vote AJP?
Australians love animals, we want to see they are protected and treated with kindness. Yet, we have some of the worst animal welfare laws in the world. Millions of hens are still crammed into battery cages. Puppies are still being intensively farmed in puppy factories. And our brutal killing of kangaroos is the largest landbased wildlife massacre in the world. It seems that as long as people are making money out of animal suffering, our politicians don’t want to touch it. The AJP is the only party focused on changing that. If you want to see animals and the environment protected for future generations, then vote 1 AJP at the election in March and be part of a kinder future.
On March 23rd the Animal Justice Party plan to get Emma Hurst elected and get a second voice for animals in the NSW parliament!
Our State Election Campaigns:
Millions of hens are still permanently confined in battery cages where they have about the same amount of room as an iPad. They live on hard wire flooring and can’t even stretch their wings. We will propose a Bill to end the battery cage farming system.
Protect our Kangaroos
There is no welfare monitoring in the commercial killing of kangaroos. The mass commercial slaughter of our national emblem is the largest land-based massacre in the world. We are calling for an urgent review of the industry and a rapid phase out the commercial killing of kangaroos and wallabies.
Protect the Environment
It is an AJP priority that urgent action be taken to address global climate destabilisation. Our solution includes protecting existing forests and marine habitats from further destruction, rapidly transforming Australian agriculture to allow reforestation by reducing grazing, along with clean energy solutions, renewable energy targets, sustainable plant-based food agriculture systems and education.
A vote for the AJP doesn’t just help animals.
We want to create a kinder and better world for all through:
- A stable and healthy environment for future generations.
- Equality and safety in areas such as gun use, violence, health, education and mental health.
