Emma Kerin Animal Justice Party Candidate for The Senate

Emma Kerin is the lead Senate candidate for the Animal Justice Party NSW in the 2025 federal election. Emma served the community at large by working in the public service for 17 years focusing on financial crime. She has a master’s degree in this area and is currently completing Doctoral research.

However, animal welfare has always been her ‘heart’ work. Emma brings a lifelong dedication to advocacy and animal rescue. The experience she has gained from this work provides a strong foundation and understanding, to now step up and tackle the entrenched injustices animals face.

Emma will lead with dedication and integrity to uphold the live sheep export ban, protect our native wildlife, stand up against the cruel treatment of animals in factory farms, and push for a federal independent office of animal welfare – and that’s just the start! Animal welfare doesn’t fall within left or right political ideologies. It is a moral issue which crosses all divides and affects all people and communities directly or indirectly. Therefore, Emma will push for Australian legislation and policy which values the welfare of all animals and protects them from suffering and harm to make meaningful change for animals, people and environment.

Help us make a difference for animals in the Federal Government elections

We need your help to have the biggest possible impact at the upcoming Federal Government election.

The Animal Justice Party cannot stand a compassionate Federal candidate without your support to pay for social media advertising, printing and campaigning. With enough money to raise awareness of AJP we have a real chance of having a Federal Candidate elected, to advocate for all animals at a National government level. The more funds we have, the bigger our impact for animals.

Can you chip in to cover some of the costs?
