Matt Twaddell

Matt is the Animal Justice Candidate standing in the seat of Campbelltown. He’s a husband, step-father and business professional with over 30 years experience in finance, IT, business administration and project management.

Matt moved to the Macarthur area 18 years ago in 2005 (which he says was a great year for sports fans - go the Tigers!). What attracted him to the area was the green space and beautiful bushland, how easily he could park right outside the shops, how quiet it was at night, the friendly people and how proud the area was to be known as Koala Town.

But a lot has changed in 18 years, some for the good for the area, others not so much.

Matt is standing this election to fight to ensure that the changes we make now are all good ones. Good for the people and animals of Campbelltown and for the planet as a whole.

If elected, Matt will work on issues close to his heart, such as protecting the Campbelltown koalas, prioritising native animal protection, existing green spaces in all new development applications and remediate known black spots such as Appin Rd, to protect the animals and people.

A vote for Matt and the Animal Justice Party is a vote for kindness, equality, rationality and non-violence.

Donate to the 2023 State Election

On March 25, NSW will go to the polls for our state election. We need to ensure that we get another MP elected to replace Mark Pearson who is retiring. We are competing against the major parties who have big bucks from corporate and industry donors - but we have you and with you we are powerful. Any donation you can make will help us buy posters, pay for radio ads, and social media promotion. We have already proven how successful a minor party can be - help us get our next MP elected.
