Arielle Perkett is the Animal Justice Party candidate for Heathcote and is driven by science-based and pragmatic approaches to make better choices for animals and the planet.
Standing for environmental action and animal rights, her campaign is focused on improving wildlife crossings on roads in the Heathcote Region. Her position in the lower house will reinforce and drive forward a stronger voice for those concerned by animal cruelty and environmental damage.
Arielle is an executive member of Animal Voices at UNSW, a committee member of the Young Animal Justice Party and has been vegan for 7 years. Her veganism is driven by a love of animals and an awareness of the detrimental effects the meat industry has on public health and the environment.
As a student of ecology at UNSW, Arielle is focused on improving the impact agriculture has on the environment. She works as a tree planter and volunteers at a plastic-free co-operative bulk foods.
Arielle is proud to stand for the AJP as a voice for the animals, people and planet this election.
