Angela Pollard has been a resident of the Northern Rivers for more than 25 years and lives with her partner Darlene on a twenty-acre hobby farm. They grow their own fruit, nuts and vegetables as well as replanting rainforest habitat for native animals.
Angela is senior advisor to the Hon Mark Pearson, MP for the Animal Justice Party and has a background in animal law, social justice and human rights. Angela has worked as a legal aid lawyer and was a founder of the Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre where she worked for many years in senior management.
Angela is an activist member of her community; volunteering with local groups to campaign on matters such as animal protection, law reform for LGBTI people, environmental protection and workers’ rights.
